— “I told you, I’ll finish the budget when I f—”
— “——-You’re not the Earth King’s ambassador.”
“And?! What’s that got to do with anything?”
“That’s how it works!”
"Bullshit. You hit me, I hit you back."

”You don’t get to hit me back! You’re not wearing green!”

— - “Aye, Ser. From the Reach,” she replied with a warm smile as they began to walk. The streets were crowded and busy, people teeming to and fro. With their surroundings so noisy, Margaery found herself walking quite close to Zuko, their arms nearly brushing as they stepped over the cobblestones.
“Where is it that you come from? Surely it much be far from here.” Her questions were made out of curiosity, nothing more. The Tyrell woman adored hearing stories of far off places and adventures, especially so when they were real tales. Vaguely, she hoped that she did not offend with her inquiries.
“If I am not too bold to ask, of course.”
— - “Not at all.” His face flushed at her proximity, but he tried not to let it show in his expression. Much of his time was spent alone, traveling from city to city. The moments when he could stop to talk to another soul were infrequent at best, and the moments when he could speak to a lady — especially one as beautiful as she — were even more so. He inwardly cursed his inexperience, and locked his gaze ahead of him.
“You would not do the distance justice to call it ‘far’ from here. I’ve come from across the Narrow Sea; specifically, I am from Qarth, on the south shore of Essos.” His jaw set slightly at the mention of his home — moreso at the thought that he was no longer welcome within the walls. But that was a story for another time, and now he was determined to shift the subject of conversation elsewhere.
“Have you heard of Qarth, my lady?”

”Hey! That’s not how it works!”
"The Earth Kingdom’s damn color is green and I ain’t even wearing any."
— “Your mistake.”
— “You told me it would be warm today. This isn’t warm.”
"I can tell you’re busy but I wanted to offer a break to you? After all can’t be easy being in charge and all right?"
— “Well, not exactly, but I’d imagine you know that just as well as I do. I’m guessing you’d also know how hard it can be to take a break when the people you rule need you.”
"you didn’t hear me at all did you?" She taps the table. "Earth to Zukoo."
[ well, that got his attention. ]
— “Princess Yue? When did you — Uh, I’m sorry, I just… Paperwork. Yeah.”
"Is everything alright Zuko?"
— “…Uh, no thanks, I’m fine.”
[ that response should be enough to let you know he paid no attention to the words you just spoke. ]
[ and if that didn’t give it away, maybe the fact he didn’t even bother to look up would. ]
